Golden Triangle Algarve
The Golden Triangle is one of the most prestigious regions in the Algarve. Its three main references being Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Almancil.
40 years ago the Algarve was mainly made up of pine forest with only a few villas scattered across the Central Algarve region. Today property sales in the Golden Triangle are more popular than ever before but it all really began with two main developments.
The first was developed in the sixties when Sir Richard Costain bought the Vale do Lobo resort and turned it into a luxury property development, since then it has gone on to win multiple awards including the best Holiday Destination in Europe.
The second was Quinta do Lago, developed by André Jordan In the seventies; the resort offers luxury properties and villas set within championship golf courses and is often the holiday resort of choice for the World's rich and famous.
Today the Golden Triangle has many smaller property developments and is often the chosen area for people looking to buy central Algarve properties. The Golden Triangle now boasts four 18-hole golf courses with large areas of unspoilt pine forest and long golden beaches, ensuring Algarve property sales are more popular than ever.
