Clubbing

While it might not be as "cool"; as Ibiza or the Balearics, it's certainly lively. Albufeira is where you will probably go if your idea of night life is to stay out until the early hours. It is probably best to ask around once you've arrived at your Algarve destination; people virtually fall over themselves to recommend their favourite night spots! Within the Golden Triangle you will find Clube T in Quinta do Lago, and about a twenty minute drive away, you will find Nikki Beach, a members' beach club with a restaurant and nightclub attached.

Bars & Lounges

You would not expect to accommodate lots of British and German tourists and their night life requirements without a varied collection of “drinking holes” springing up (would you?). Whatever your tipple, there is a good chance you will find exactly the right spot, (and plenty of relaxing company), in one of the resorts. Within the Golden Triangle we would recommend the Melting Pot in Quinta do Lago shopping centre, a traditional pub popular with residents and holiday makers alike. If you are looking for somewhere that is open a little later, we love O Bar in Almancil, they often host parties and at weekends a DJ spins the tunes.

Casinos

Not as brash or flash as Las Vegas but, whether you’re a committed gambler or just like “a flutter”, the Algarve will not disappoint. It is all part of the modern Algarve night life, and you can indulge until the early hours. The Casino in Vilamoura often has gala nights. If you are going to play, remember to bring your passport.
